Nobel brownies


130g s/r flour
55g unsweetened cocoa
115g butter
175g brown sugar
2 eggs
large pinch salt
115g milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pecans


Cream butter. Gradually add brown sugar beating until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and mix well. Mix the flour and cocoa together. Then add and mix the cocoa and flour mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir in the vanilla extract and the pecans.

Pour into a greased 8” square pan, or a pan lined with non-stick baking parchment. Bake in a 170°C oven for 30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. (Can take up to 45 mins) Cut into approx. 12 servings before cooling.
