Rissoles
Ingredients
200g cooked lamb or beef
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1½ handfulls (50g) fresh breadcrumbs
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
handful fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper
1 small egg, beaten
Method
Optionally, some chilli powder or finely chopped chillis, or curry powder and ginger.
Put the roughly chopped meat and onion into a food processor, along with the garlic. Process until crumb texture.
Add the remaining dry ingredients and pulse a few times until mixed. Add the egg and pulse some more until mixed.
Form into 6 patties and dust each with seasoned flour. Cover with cling film and leave to chill in the fridge until needed.
Shallow fry for 5 minutes a side in oil.
