It's alright, this was just a historic reconstruction of the first settlers homes - not our hotel for the night.

Later, their homes looked just like England where they'd come from in the first place.

Time for an ice cream that afternoon, just to prove it really was summer.

And that was the most crowded beach we saw anywhere on the trip!

And then on to our hotel in Rotrua for the night

Next morning we rushed to join these people at 10am

and this is what we were all looking at

But it did get better later (helped by a large bar of soap)
